IMPORTANT - Fraudulent Phishing Attempt - Confirm Email Update

We have noticed that a large number of users have been receiving emails with the subject "Confirm Email Update". These are from a fraudulent party requesting users to reply back with their username and password to "reset" their space to maintain their mailbox, which of course is something that CIACCESS would never ask our users to do. Important! - Phishing Email - Do NOT Respond - "Your Email Account Has Been Suspended"

Viruses

We have noticed that a large number of users have been receiving emails with the subject "[SPAM-SUSPECT]-- Your Email Account Has Been Suspended". These are from a fraudulent party requesting users to click on a secure link, which is of course insecure. Do NOT click on any links in the email as it could install a virus or any other malicious type of software. This message is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt. CIACCESS will never ask you for your email account details on a mass email basis. If you ever suspect that an email is fraudulent, feel free to contact our support department. It is always important to make sure that your computer has the latest virus definitions and to scan your computer with an antivirus/spyware program. Also make sure that your computer has all the latest Windows Updates on your computer to help prevent any known security vulnerabilities. Any known phishing attempts will be posted on the CIACCESS webpage once they become available.

Fraudulent Phishing Attempt! - CIACCESS Technical Support - "A new settings file for the username@ciaccess.com mailbox"

Please be on the lookout for multiple fraudulent phishing emails that are impersonating CIACCESS Technical Support. These are called phishing emails. The message subject could be labeled as "(A new settings file for the username@ciaccess.com mailbox)" , "(For the owner of the username@ciaccess.com e-mail account)" or similar. Do not click on any links in the email as they execute malicious code (multiple viruses). If you receive this message, delete it and do not respond to it. If you did respond to this party, please contact us and then we can change your password. If you did click any links in the email, we recommend scanning your computer for viruses and spyware. CIACCESS recommends staying up-to-date with your antivirus program and performing Windows Updates. Click read more to see a copy of the email.
