As an adult with Moebius Syndrome, I place
considerable importance on the role that everyday humor has played in my
daily life. I (and many others) feel strongly that possessing a strong
sense of humor has helped us cope with life’s many challenges and frustrations.
As we prepare to assemble in July for our International Conference, I would
like to encourage persons affected with Moebius Syndrome, whether they
are Moebians, family members, or other parties to share humorous anecdotes
or true-life experiences which relate to experiences with Moebius Syndrome.
Upon receiving these submissions, I plan
to compile and reproduce them in a booklet to be distributed at our Conference.
I ask you to e-mail or send your anecdotes or experiences to me at the
following addresses:
residence: 1926 Overbrook Circle, Missouri City, Texas 77459
or
rbienven@hr.ci.houston.tx.us
When you send me your submission, please indicate your permission/agreement
to include it in the booklet we’ll be distributing next summer.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
