In 1987, my late wife and I decided to change our lifestyle. We were both working in Toronto, I was the Controller for the Canadian Office of a major world - wide design - build firm. We had an Old English as a pet for a number of years, and we considered it to be the best breed of dog around. We researched a number of kennels to establish where we thought we should buy our breeding stock from. This is when we met Bette and Ken Maxwell of Aphrodite OES. They took us under their arms and we spent a year attending Dog Shows and learning all about the breed. In 1988 we registered our Kennel name, moved back to my roots, and built a home on the same spot where I was born, in the middle of a one hundred acre farm, next to my mother and brother. In March of that year we acquired our first OES. from Bette and Ken Maxwell. She was flown in from Calgary, and her name was Aphrodite Snow Shadow. She is now retired as a Champion with an ROM. We next acquired Aphrodite City Slicker, Aphrodite Dare To Dazle, Aphrodite Fancee Dancing Lady and Aphrodite Snow Drift which became the foundation of our Kennel.
Recently, we have also established an All Breed Dog Grooming
Business , complimenting the Breeding Business.
