 This spring will bring Woodsshadow's Herb Garden into it's third year of operation. In the first year we had about 15,600 Sq. Ft. of growing Herbs outside with several hundred different varieties.

In the coming year we hope to expand this to about 25,000 Sq. Ft. We will have plants from all the major groupings - Medicinal, Dye, Fragrance, Everlasting and Culinary.

In the Culinary Group, there will be at least 10 different varieties of Basil, several kinds of Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, etc.

 We have applied for our Organic Grower's License, and do not spray or use fertilizers of any kind.

We start almost all our plants from seed which we are now starting to collect from last year's plants.

There will be plants available this May from our greenhouse.

PS: There are a lot of Herbs that can be incorporated right into your regular flower gardens. This can help make them more attractive, and serve a useful purpose as well!
