Subject: Woodsshadows Wilbur

Hi Bill,

Tracey and I wish you all the best in the upcoming year. Here are some
recent pictures of Wilbur taken around a week ago. We can't believe how
much he's grown since we got him. He's a ton of fun, and he follows us
everywhere we go in the house. He's also starting to sleep through the
night. We absolutely love the little guy.........

We need your expert advice on a couple of things though. He is constantly biting anyone who is around him (me not so much) but Tracey and whomever visits the house. I try and redirect him to bite a toy and then praise him for it but he prefers hands, arms, legs, knees, etc...Is this normal puppy behaviour? Any idea how I can get him to stop? We take him for at least 3 30+ minute walks a day to get all that energy spent.......

Another thing I notice is how much he goes pee in a day. It's upwards of about 10 times, even when we are done our walk and come back home he will go pee on one of the puppy pads we have laid out on the ground. Also, when we go on our walks, some of the trails have little hills that we walk up and over (a couple of feet high, not too steep) will this do Wilbur any harm in his joints or hips because I know he's not supposed to be on stairs until 7 months old?

Lastly, I'm hoping it's just a puppy thing but on our walks, Wilbur LOVES to eat rocks/pebbles/stones off the ground. I'm worried about him chocking or it harming his insides if he swallows one that is too big.

We are starting puppy training on January 8th and will keep you posted.
