Hi Bill;

Hope this email finds you well.

Wael and I just watched a very interesting program and I was
wondering if you saw it. It was on the CBC 'Doc Zone-Pet Food: A
Dog's Breakfast'. If you missed it, I am certain it will be re-aired.

What they spoke of is a subject Wael and I have been self-teaching for 13 months now-pretty much every since we brought Wilbur home.

Wilbur had such bad digestion on the kibble as a puppy. I am sure you remember our many emails! We did our research and found the best decision would be a raw food diet.

Wilbur eats nothing but raw vegetables, raw meat, tripe, chicken and turkey necks and fruit. He is happy and healthy. His coat is that of a chinchilla and he is quite energetic.

Many people believe we are over the top and that commercial dog food is acceptable. We were even met with an angry vet (a sub in for our vacationing vet) who basically scolded us for feeding a raw diet.

I am so glad this aired on the CBC this evening. Consumers have to be educated and increasingly, the limited education comes from the dog food bags themselves which are very misleading.

I know you have been raising dogs for years and it is your passion. I just thought you would find this program so interesting.

Besides, cats and dogs are carnivorous. If they were lost or wild, raw meat is all they would eat.

Best Regards,
Tracey & Wilbur
