Subject: news on Teddy Too
Hi Bill and Shelia
Teddy Too is doing great, very active, very healthy.
The vet still can't believe that an OES can be in such great
shape and weight 100lbs,
she is forever looking for fat
somewhere ... but happy to report that this big guy is not fat
at all, but very healthy.
Every year we have a Christmas Tree Trim party early in December
where we invite
neighbours, friends and family to come
and decorate our tree and have food, drinks and laughs on a Sunday
afternoon. Last
year we decided that Teddy Too was a bit
too young and loved to be "in your face" a bit too
much for a large gathering of
people, so we put him in a very nice
kennel for the day.
This year we decided to keep him at home for the special day
to see how he would
react. I was a bit nervous at first.
We get about 50-60 people in our house ranging from 2years old
to 85 years old ...
so not an ideal place for an aggressive
dog.
Teddy Too was absolutely perfect for the day, he was gentle with
the older crowd,
played with the young kids, his best
buddy for about 3 hours was an 18 month old little girl.
I'm sure he had a cracker or 2, but he never took any food off
the dinning room
table, which was full of all types of cheese,
cakes and cookies....you know all the stuff that is so hard to
resist for dogs!
Most of the guests were amazed on how great he was, and how
agile he was for such
a big dog ... he never knocks anything
over, he always just brushes by things, if he gets into a corner
he'll back up very
carefully, never touching anything around
... I think in a previous life he must've been a tractor-trailer
driver!
Just thought I'd share a bit of news on Teddy Too, and congratulate
you on 15 years
of breeding great, big, happy dogs.
